How I handle a dog who hates this

Porch hello
First meeting happens where your dog feels safest — at home, with you there. Treats and sniffing before anyone sees the trailer.
Sniff-through
Ramp down, door open, dryer off. Your dog walks the trailer and gets a treat on the table before a single tool comes out.
Warm bath, their pace
Warm water from the trailer's own tank, gentle sprayer, grip mat. A calm narration the whole way — dogs settle to a steady rhythm.
Drying without the roar
Dryers are the number-one panic trigger. Low speed with breaks, or towels for a dog who says no. Fifteen extra minutes beats a dog who learns fear.
The groom itself
Clip, scissor, nails, ears — one pair of hands. Seniors get support under the hips; wiggly dogs get breaks, not restraint.
Hand-back + notes
Your dog back at your own door with two minutes of honest notes: what went well, what to watch, what cycle keeps the coat easy.

06Policies — plain words, no asterisks

The fine print, printed large

Cancellations: Move or cancel up to 48 hours out, no charge. Inside 48 hours a fee applies — a missed driveway can't be refilled the way a salon chair can.
New clients: A card on file holds the first booking. Regulars on a schedule don't need one.
Hard freeze: Water lines come first. If a freeze is forecast you get a rebooking text before 8am — never a no-show.
Matting: Quoted by text before work starts, agreed in advance, never discovered on the invoice.
